What is the General Service Representative (GSR)?
A General Service Representative (GSR) is the link between an AA group and AA as a whole. It is recommended that GSRs have at least two years of sobriety, time to commit to meetings, and the ability to listen to differing points of view. Below is a list of current GSR’s for the groups.

The Seventh Tradition states:
"Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions."
While contributions cover each group's rent and other expenses, the Seventh Tradition is essential at every level of A.A. service. It is both a privilege and a responsibility for groups and members to ensure that not only their group, but also their intergroup/central office, local services, district, area, and the General Service Office remain self-supporting.
This keeps A.A. free of outside influences that might divert us from our primary purpose - to help the alcoholic who still suffers. The amount of our contribution is secondary to the spiritual connection that unites all groups around the world.
Please note that contributions are accepted only from A.A. members.
People who wish to help the cause of sobriety are encouraged to send their gracious donations to other local organizations.
If you would like more information regarding A.A. donations, please see "Where Money and Spirituality Mix" .
If a specific group is to be credited, include the Group Service number, name, and location!
Please make checks payable to the bold name listed above the address.
