Welcome to A.A. District 5 in North Central Minnesota Area 35. We are located northwest of the Twin Cities metro area, north of I-94 containing cities including Becker, Big Lake, Dayton, Elk River, Milaca, Otsego, Princeton, and Zimmerman. If you are looking for us, you are in the right place and we're glad you are here. This site will assist in answering general questions about Alcoholics Anonymous, as well as Alcoholics Anonymous' presence in the local area and to find resources providing more information on alcoholism.

• The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions.

• A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes.

• Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
